The Escapists sequel to have multiplayer

At the TwitchCon event, studios Team 17 and Mouldy Toof announced the release of the second part of the prison escape simulator, The Escapists, and shared the first trailer of the new game.

One of the main innovations of the sequel will be the introduction of four-player multiplayer: split-screen gameplay, co-op, versus modes, and classic online. Additionally, players can expect a new graphic style, a new combat system, a crafting system, and new escape routes.

With updated character customization options, you can create any character and even play as a female. Players will also have access to more activities to pass the time: join a club, learn to draw, and more.

The Escapists 2 will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One next year.
